Ok so I'm finally back from Aki-Con up in Everett. OOOOOOMG I had so much fun like for serious. OwO I went as D. Carly... though, next convention I go to, I'm planning on going as Russia! x3 Because Russia is awesome. And stuff. xD;

I was kind of disappointed. There was no one who recognized me, and only 1 other yugioh cosplayer... even then all he had was a Yusei wig. They didn't even have a single volume of yugioh manga in the manga library

I met all sorts of Hetalia lovers, and conversed with a very amusing Germany in the Cosplay hall. He was carrying a big hunk of wurst. I told him he should disguise his coffee as a beer mug. xD Too bad, there were no Italys. There were about 4 Chinas, 3 Lithuanias, a Prussia, Canada, France, and, like, 6 Russias. I gave every single one of them a hug. Canada I gave double hugs. She really was adorable. Oh yeah, there were 2 Chibitalias I saw! Does that count as Italy...? No... maybe not.

There was a guy dressed as... uh. Well, I can't remember the character's name, but he was from D. Gray man. (It's been WAY too long. I need to read it more) and he ended up doing some truly amazing things. He tackled Lelouch into submission and ended up finishing a cup of spicy ramen in under 10 fucking seconds! O_o Me and my friend knew he was going to win, but not by THAT much!

I bought my fair share of things. Pocky, a Simon plush from Gurren Lagann, an ADORABLE bunny hat, a manga tutorial book (which... in all honesty, I think was a waste of $20 :/ the style it was drawn in wasn't that good, and it was meant for TRUE beginers. *sigh* if I hadn't bought it I could've gotten a D. Gray Man tote bag.... Oh well, can't do anything now) and a super cute America key chain. I was sad to hear the vendor just ran out of Russias, but I'm really happy I got America ^^

I'm actually really determined to be a vendor/dealer... whatever at the next convention I go to (whenever that may be) and I want to sell some of my stuff. I think I could get a lot of money from it! I just haven't been able to find any good information yet, so if anyone reads this, I'd be very willing to get some answers! First off, I'm not sure if you need to be a certain age to be a vendor/dealer. I visited the Sakuracon website (unfortunately I'm going on an 8 day road trip the DAY Sakuracon opens.... ;_; ) and it said you needed some sort of vendor's number having sold your stuff in three or more other conventions or something in Washington state. I'm horribly confused. Nor do I know what the average stock per item should be. I mean, if I wanted to sell keychains, buttons, and bookmarks it'd be easy to print off a lot of those, but if I did full color prints I'm not sure how many I should print out for sale. If anyone's done this before at an anime convention or, heck, even a craft fair, I'd be grateful for ANY info.
